Out of the blue, there was a display of fireworks

I guess this is the first time I'm so much high than than fireworks. Normally i see them against the sky...

my guess is .... they are celebrating the arrival of the Chinese New Year !

in Singapore, the most popular dish for the CNY is the ''LOU HEI"

Which is supposed to bring you good luck and everything that you need to sail through the year...

It's delicious in case you wonder...

And it looks like this

Though it's 2 weeks before CNY, I had my first Lou Hei at the opening of the OCBC bank @ ION

which my mum was invited to and I had to be her partner that day.

My bestest mum wanted to fair to Rozy and so she bought Rozy another Miumiu bag

which i chose. Rozy wasn't a fan of it, therefore I proposed to trade mine for hers!

before i forget, here's the picture of the ramen I had at the Mandarin Hotel.

Saw them having their grand opening last night. It was pretty awesome.

i know this doesn't look impressive cuz i was so hungry this picture was taken when i was

halfway through it. : P sorry

Another must eat stop whenever i return home is this Duck Rice which is kinda far away from the city centre. It's just irresistible !

My main purpose of this trip back is to attend my friends' wedding.

One in Malaysia, a beach wedding then another one here in Singapore which took place

two nights back, the theme is Masquerade.

I've got better quality pictures taken using Rozy's camera but i can't find the wire

to load it to my computer.... : (

Another BBQ party at my place tonight and I'll be back in HK !!!

HEY HI ! I JUST GOT HOME FROM DINNER WITH MY FAMILY. OH YAH.... I'M REALLY HOME, AS IN SINGAPORE ! HAHA ! MY DAD TOOK US TO THIS NEW JAPANESE RAMEN SHOP AT THE NEW MANDARIN HOTEL. YUMMY !

Tickets for Avatar @ IMAX has been fully booked till a month later. Craziness.... I got to watch it at another theatre and I must say..... It's Awesome. Beautiful colors, vibrant images. Never seen so much colors in my life !

''Avatar is James Cameron's opus. He's been working on it for the last fifteen years, a fact that is certain to raise most people's expectations to impossible-to-meet standards. Without going into details, the film focuses on a future where the human race is attempting to mine an inhabited planet for a valuable resource. The inhabitants, a tall, strong, blue-skinned humanoid people called the Na'vi, are resisting, and so Na'vi bodies are grown that can be controlled remotely by humans so that they can walk among this alien race.

Even with the basic plot and one-dimensional characters, the movie is phenomenal. I saw it in 3D, and the world was so engrossing that you begin to get lost in it. At one point, characters in the movie raised their arms, and I almost yelled at the people sitting in front of me because I thought it was them. You forget that most of the movie is not real. Uphill Battle

I like to go for a quiet walk whenever I feel blue... Two nights back, I went for a 3hour walk.
if only humans are built in a way that our head automatically clears at a certain time everyday, like the congested roads of hong kong..

it was drizzling.... at first i was shivering in cold..

then i started to run...

they say we're always on our way home, its just the further we go ,

the more we see, the more we learn.

no matter where you run to, you always have to turn around in the end .

however, on the way home, we still get to chose our route.

we don't always have to take the shortest and most familiar route

left or right?

we are at crossroads every single day of our lives.

sometimes you don't even realize you are making choices,

sometimes, you do.

whichever choice you make,

life is always an uphill battle.

Blackberry Bold 9700

Yesterday i attended the launch of Blackbeery Bold 9700.
I was eager check it out being a user myself.
I just bought my old Bold 2 months back and now I have a new one !
Oh man..... so tempted to switch to the new one yet i don't know what to do with my old phone.
Old....but still so new.... get what i mean?
Well the good thing about the new Bold is that,
it's Smaller, takes better pictures, and they have a function to access to my gmail address book.
How tempting is that ? hmmm..... if i take better pictures..... you'll see nicer pics on my blog...
and the phone can fit into my little clutch ...... : P

what's your take on this?
and nope, i'm not selling my old Bold cuz someone's gonna recover all my files and whatever...
its dangerous !!

My latest discovery this trip in Singapore. I told my mum I was super hungry and exhausted and cuz we're in the middle of moving into a new flat, the kitchen was yet full functioning.
She asked me '' You wanna eat the Golden Pillow ?"
"What's that mum??"

She went into the kitchen and came out with a box !

IT'S CRAZY HOW EACH DAY JUST PASSES U BY AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, THE WEEK'S ALMOST OVER again..... I FEEL LIKE I'M LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST NOW.
HAVEN'T BEEN TO MORE THAN 3 WEDDINGS IN HK AND JUST THIS WEEK, I CELEBRATED MY FRIEND MATTHEW AND LANA'S WEDDING. GOT TO KNOW MATTHEW MA WHEN HE WROTE ALL THE SONGS FOR 'THE SMILING PROUD WANDERER' MUSICAL ROZY AND I DID SOME TIME BACK. YAY ! CONGRATS ! ALWAYS MORE THAN HAPPY TO SEE TWO LOVE BIRDS TIE THEIR KNOTS.
I THOUGHT I WANNA START THIS BLOG REALLY HAPPY SO IPOSTED THE PICTURE OF MY FAVORITE CRUNCH CAKE FROM SAVVA. YUMMY !
HOWEVER....

Dance Race, Dance !

I've been attending dance and performance sessions with Jennifer Chiang,
who happen to be Kelvin Avon's wife. She's a very professional coach who has worked
all over the globe with artiste from the States, Uk, Germany, Russia..etc
and now I'm so lucky that Jen and Kelvin have decided to migrate to Hk and thus,
here we are, getting down on it !!

Everyday single day, having sessions with Kelvin or jen, everytime I walk out, I have a great sense of satisfaction as I took something from them. I feel myself improving gradually with lots of love and support from the team. Love Alovenotdead for bringing us together.
This is simply the best project I've ever worked on !!

HI GOOD MORNING MONDAY ! WOW MONDAY, MEANING WE HAVE THE WHOLE WEEK AHEAD OF US. YES I KNOW SOME OF YOU DREAD IT, BUT I AM SO THANKFUL FOR EACH DAY I HAVE. THANKFUL FOR ALL THAT I HAVE. I LIKE TO START MY DAY RIGHT ! SO BREAKFAST IS CRUCIAL. I CAN'T WORK WITH AN EMPTY STOMACH. NOT JUST WORK, I CAN'T FUNCTION AT ALL WITHOUT FOOD. I WOKE UP AT 10.30 AND THE NIGHT BEFORE I HAD PLANS TO HAVE MCDONALDS HOTCAKES YET I KNOW I CAN'T GET THERE BY 11. SO I TRIED SOMETHING FOR THE FIRST TIME, WHICH IS HOME DELIVERY FOR MCDONALS. AH....IT'S SO CONVENIENT I DON'T KNOW WHY I WAITED SO LONG.... MY DAD USED TO TAKE US TO MAC HOTCAKES EVERY SUNDAY AND THAT'S SOMETHING I REALLY MISS. SO HAVING THE HOTCAKES KINDA SATISFY MY HOMESICKNESS FOR TODAY !

LAST SATURDAY I HAD TO GO TO GUANGZHOU FOR WORK. ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE I LAST WENT THERE. EVERYTHING'S COOL APART FROM THE LONG CAR RIDE .....

SO I ALWAYS TRAVEL WITH MY NOVEL, IPOD AND OF COURSE, MY BBFOR THE RIDE BACK, I DITCHED THE CAR AND FLEW ON THE HELICOPTER INSTEAD. HAHAHA !
LOOK IT S SIMON BIRCH! MY SECOND TIME TO HIS EXHIBITION. HE TOLD ME DONALD TSANG WAS THERE BEFORE I DID.
SUCH A GREAT GUY WITH GREAT TALENTS. LOVE HIS ART !
HERE I AM , TODAY IN THE STUDIO, CONTINUING OUR MUSIC SESSION WITH KELVIN !

Its the worst feeling to not be able to sing when you wanna sing so badly...

i went to watch 2012. i tot its a pretty good movie to catch. amazing computer graphics.
before the movie started, i browsed the book store and bought 2 books. one of which is Nick Knight's compilation of his journey as an image maker in photography and fashion. A powerful volumn of creative images. makes one go Wow.

Xmas is in the air.... Love is in the air....
The cold weather reminded me of the days when i first came to hk with my sister. I was in the studio last night and suddenly I felt that the world around me has changed.
I don't know why the sudden feeling cuz i was surrounded by a group of new good friends....
and i guess most importantly, I was always in the studio with Rozy in the past... so...
felt lonely for a bit ...
